Scott earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Iowa. He later earned his MBA from the University of Kentucky. Scott started his banking career in 2001 and is a seasoned financial executive with broad experience working with business owners, CEO's, and CFO's of companies ranging from $5MM in revenues up to multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 companies based in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and Tennessee. The majority of his career has been as a corporate banker and then as a senior credit and risk management officer approving commercial loans for these companies. Scott has been deeply involved in Merger and Acquisition transactions, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, complex financing arrangements, private equity transactions, workout and turnarounds, developing projections, sensitivity analysis and metrics for clients. Scott served as President, Vice President and Treasurer on the board for Down Syndrome of Louisville for eight years.
