Direct Connect refers to a two-way connectivity between German American’s OFX server and Quicken or QuickBooks.

Web Connect is a one-way communication from German American’s online banking system to Quicken/QuickBooks. This connectivity type requires users to log into German American’s online banking website, download an OFX-based file and manually import into the software.

Express Web Connect uses aggregation technology (OFX and HTML screen parsing scripts) to login and access account transaction information.
