Our Hiring Process

We know there are many routes you can take to find a satisfying career. If you are interested in working for a growing company which values integrity, relationships, excellence, service and inclusion, then read on!

Did you know?
Email communication is a part of our hiring process. You will receive updates via email about the status of your application. We wish you the best in reaching your career aspirations.

Step 1 - Search and Apply

Check out career opportunities that interest you. Evaluate each job’s summary of duties and responsibilities so you know what you’ll do and what it takes.  If you find a match for your skills and interests, let’s get to know each other.

Complete and submit your application online. Be sure to watch your e-mail for status updates.

Just a heads-up, some positions require an online assessment at this stage to measure your skills, knowledge and abilities for the job. If you're invited to complete an assessment through an email, please set aside some time to complete it within the required time frame.

Step 2 - Let's Talk

Our recruiters review your resume and that’s not all. If your skills and experience match what we’re looking for, we will give you a call. We want to hear more about your work experience, career goals and what you are most passionate about. Of course,  we are happy to share with you what German American life is all about.

Step 3 - Let's Meet

There’s nothing better than a face-to-face meeting. If we both have mutual interest to keep moving forward, you’ll be invited to meet with the hiring manager.

This meeting gives us time to explore and learn more about you, as well as an opportunity for you to get to know us better. Together, we could discover the possibilities for a lasting relationship.

Step 4 - Selection and Offer

If we are a match, let’s talk details.

The recruiter will contact you with a verbal offer of employment followed by an official offer letter via email. Please note that all offers are contingent upon successfully fulfilling pre-employment qualifications such as drug testing and background checks.

If you accept the offer and meet all pre-employment qualifications, your recruiter will work with you to determine a start date for your new position.
