We collect your personal information, for example, when you
open an account or apply for a loan
pay your bills or make deposits or withdrawals from your account
provide account information
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies.
Why can't I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only
sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes – information about your creditworthiness
affiliates from using your information to market to you
sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
Our affiliates include companies with a German American name including GABC Leasing Inc.; and financial companies such as an insurance agency.
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
German American does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you.
German American doesn't jointly market.

Personal Banking Logins
You can log into both personal and small business online banking from the Personal page. Although the default option is Online Banking, if you have a business banking account, you can also select Business Banking or Desktop Express without leaving the Personal page.
Business Banking Logins
The default login from this page is the Business Banking option, but Personal and Desktop Express are also available from this login.
