As a part of the grand-opening celebration of their new 3930 South Walnut St. office in Bloomington, German American Bank is making a $10,000 donation to Bloomington non-profit organizations through their Visit and Vote campaign.  Customers and community members were given the opportunity to vote for their favorite Bloomington non-profit from a list of 33 participating organizations.  Voting took place from the grand opening date of November 9th through Saturday, December 19th with the top 3 organizations to receive $3,333 each.

The winning recipients of a $3,333.00 donation from German American Bank are The Warehouse, Monroe County CASA and LIFE Designs.  The Warehouse provides a safe, positive place for youth with access to sports, recreation, and the arts. Monroe County CASA is a volunteer-powered organization that advocates for child victims of abuse and neglect. LIFE Designs offers services to promote independence and enhance experiences for people with disabilities.

“As we continue to strengthen our commitment to Bloomington with the opening of our new 3930 South Walnut Street office, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to give back to some of the organizations who are vital in strengthening our community,” states Cindy Kinnarney, German American Regional President. “Congratulations to The Warehouse, Monroe County CASA and Life Designs, three very deserving organizations who make a big impact on those in Bloomington and the surrounding areas.”

“The outpouring of support for all of the participating non-profits has been amazing to see,” adds Jim Inman, Financial Center Manager of the 3930 South Walnut Street office.  “We are thankful for the warm welcome and support we have received in opening our new office and look forward to continuing to serve the Bloomington community for years to come.”

German American Bank now offers convenient access to office locations on the south side, east side, and in downtown Bloomington, in addition to a walk-up ITM and ATM on the Indiana University campus.
