German American Donates $2500 to American Red Cross

German American Bank made a donation of $2,500 to American Red Cross’s Southeast Chapter in Bloomington, Indiana. The mission of the American Red Cross is to alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

“We are committed to the communities we serve and believe in the importance of the everyday services provided by the American Red Cross, such as CPR education, blood drives and severe weather preparedness,” commented Nick Shafer, Regional Senior Vice President of Retail Banking for German American.

The donation is in support of the Chapter’s annual fundraiser and will support their efforts in Wayne, Union, Fayette, Franklin, Decatur, Ripley, Jennings, Switzerland, Jefferson, Bartholomew, Jackson, Scott, Brown, Monroe, Lawrence, Orange, and Washington Counties.
