Gene has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Mobile. He holds FINRA registrations Series 7, 63 and 66 with LPL Financial, along with being licensed for Life & Health insurance with his Long-Term Care endorsement. Gene joined German American Bank in 1995, transitioning to Financial Consultant in 2000. He was promoted to Vice President and Senior Financial Consultant in 2006. He was promoted yet again in 2015 to Senior Vice President. Gene and his wife stay very active in the community, both assuming coaching roles at the high school and middle school level. Their children are following in their parents' footsteps, being very active in sports and 4-H.
