What is a routing number?
A routing number is the nine-digit code on the bottom left of your check. This number helps banks and businesses locate your account so they can transfer money in and out.
How do I find my checking account number?
Look at the bottom left corner of your checks. The first nine-digit number on the left is the bank routing number. Immediately to the right of that is your checking account number.
