Have a check to deposit but can't get to the bank? Mobile Check Deposit saves you time and a trip to the bank! Snap a photo of your check with your mobile device and send it securely for deposit into your German American account. For more information, view the Mobile Deposit FAQs.

Deposit Checks in 3 Simple Steps1

  1. Tap the "Check Deposit" icon within German American's Mobile Banking app and choose the account you wish to deposit the funds into. Then, enter the amount of your check.
  2. Snap a picture of the front and back of your endorsed check with your mobile device.
  3. Deposit your check. You'll receive a confirmation message on your device for each successful deposit. You can also choose to have the deposit confirmation emailed to you.

1Deposits are not immediate, so you will not see your balance adjusted right away. Deposits received after 6:00 PM ET and deposits received on holidays or weekends will be credited to your account on the following business day during end of day processing. For example, deposits received on Friday after 6:00 PM ET or over the weekend will not be credited to your account until Monday evening. Once your check has been submitted through Mobile Deposit and you receive on-screen confirmation, you may not deposit the same check again at one of our offices.
