Tony Krampe joins German American Bank as Market President

German American Bank announces Tony Krampe has joined the company as the Owensboro Market President. In this role, he will lead the Company’s financial services team which offers commercial and personal banking, investments and wealth advisory services in Daviess and Henderson Counties in Kentucky and Spencer and Perry Counties in Indiana.

In this role, he will lead the Company’s financial services team which offers commercial and personal banking, investments and wealth advisory services in Daviess and Henderson Counties in Kentucky and Spencer and Perry Counties in Indiana. 

“Tony is an accomplished community banker. His appointment as Market President solidifies an already strong and dedicated team of local professionals serving Owensboro and the surrounding communities,” states John Lamb, German American Bank Senior Vice President, Chief Commercial Banking Officer. “Tony’s talent and leadership experience will continue to strengthen our presence with a focus on client relationships, local decision making, and a strong commitment to community.”

Krampe has over 30 years of banking and commercial lending experience, serving businesses in the tri-state area, including Owensboro, Henderson, and Evansville. He is a graduate of Murray State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance and has completed IBA Commercial Lending School and Omega Commercial Credit Training. Tony remains deeply rooted in the communities he serves, holding positions on various non-profit, church, chamber, and economic development boards. He enjoyed several years of coaching track and pole vaulting for both school and club organizations. Tony resides in Owensboro with his wife and son and has three grown daughters and two grandchildren.
